ASUU Take To Action On universities Refuse To Join The Strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has threatened to sanction a few among its membership members, who decided to withdraw from the strike that began on February 14, 2022. Meanwhile, negotiations to The Federal Government continue.
ASUU threatens to sanction non-complying institutions
The union’s president, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, issued the warning in an interview on Monday, June 13 in Abuja. He said that the union will sanction those who been forced to leave the strike in the proper manner.

As the strike is entering its fourth month, some ASUU members, particularly those who work for state-owned institutions, have decided to leave the strike in order to resume academic work
